For teams building apps, app store reviews are the most public feedback source and the one that most affects download conversion. Both major stores connect in minutes.
App Store reviews
The quickest channel to get started with, and it needs no developer-account login: on the Channels page (/channels), click "Add channel," search for your app name, and select it. The data comes from Apple's public reviews interface.
Note: the public interface only covers reviews from a recent window, so historical depth is limited; before connecting, the system will have you confirm the time range to pull.
Google Play reviews
After you click "Authorize with Google" and complete OAuth, the system automatically lists the apps under your account — click to select and connect, with no need to type a package name by hand.
Prerequisite: your Google account needs Play Console permission for that app.
Fetch frequency and history range
- Fetch frequency: each channel can be set separately to real-time / daily / weekly, changed in that channel's settings on the Channels page.
- History range: before the first fetch on connect, you'll choose how far back to pull (about 180 days by default; public-interface channels are limited by the data source).
After connecting
Once reviews arrive, they're immediately classified by AI, prioritized, and clustered into issues. A functional failure (like a crash) is at least P1 even when worded politely, so you can prioritize the problems that really matter. Next, you can draft a reply to win back users who left bad reviews.
What to do when a connection fails
On the Channels page, each channel has a health status and its most recent error. Common causes: expired credentials (re-authorize), insufficient permissions (e.g., the Google account lacks permission for that app), or data-source rate limiting (it retries automatically later). Click "Retry" to rerun immediately.
