Loopback is a paid-only tool with no standing free tier; instead, a "7-day free Max trial" carries the first experience. The core billing idea: you pay for feedback that's actually processed, not for how many tokens got burned.

7-day free Max trial
New users automatically start a 7-day full-feature Max trial on sign-up: all features, no channel wall, no card required — only the quota is limited, and it's granted instantly after email verification.
If the trial ends without a subscription, the account turns read-only (it stops collecting / processing new feedback, and historical data is kept); subscribing restores everything seamlessly and immediately, and your workspace is never deleted.
What one "feedback processed" includes
One feedback processed = classification + sentiment + priority + issue assignment + an amortized share of AI suggestions; multilingual feedback also includes translation. The unit of measure is the number of pieces of feedback processed / closed — which lines up directly with "how many user problems were actually solved," not how much raw data came in.
Overage and budget caps
Going over your quota won't interrupt anything. The overage is billed by usage, and the higher the plan, the lower the unit price. You can set a budget cap to control your maximum spend.
Tokens: transparent cost, not a selling point
Platform tokens run at transparent cost with near-zero markup — Loopback doesn't make money on a token spread. You can also choose BYOK (bring your own model key): model calls go through your own account, and Loopback charges only the platform fee. All three plans support BYOK.
